Established in 2022 by Jully Black and Jennifer Seif, the Jully Black Family Foundation is committed to supporting and advancing the education of women between the ages of 17- 35 in Ontario by offering financial support via scholarships and bursaries alongside mentorship opportunities.

The Jully Black Family Foundation post-secondary scholarships and bursaries are for young women in financial need attending college or university in Ontario.

THE JULLY BLACK FAMILY FOUNDATION

The late Agatha Gordon, the mother of Jully Black, continues to be a constant source of inspiration for many women. Ms. Gordon’s devotion to her family and commitment to providing opportunities for her children to nurture their passions, talents and academic pursuits led to the conception of the Jully Black Family Foundation.

The move to pursue post-secondary studies is often a complex decision that women mull over when they have financial limitations. A lack of financial resources should not be the deciding factor on whether or not one pursues post-secondary education. Ms. Gordon believed in finding a way to make possibilities happen, and through The Jully Black Family Foundation, another pathway to academic success and excellence has been created.

‘We don’t make mistakes, we make decisions.’ (Agatha Gordon)
